The Last Colony trailer Client: none • 2006 I made a trailer for an online contest promoting Campbell Award-wining author, John Scalzi's latest science fiction book, The Last Colony. Since the book hadn't come out at the time of the contest, I showed scenes from the first book, including the protagonist visiting his wife's grave, and getting his new, younger, chlorophyll-making space ready body. All graphics were made by me in Flash or Illustrator, EXCEPT the book cover. The music is by John Scalzi and used with permission. Oh, and I won the contest and received an advance reader copy of The Last Colony for my troubles. S'good book, and wonderful science fiction. || Main Gallery ||
